Hear America’s best diversity artist Matt Glowacki at the Variety International Conference January 23, 2015 12:03 AM - Variety – the Children’s Charity of Wisconsin

On April 30, 2015 to May 3, 2015, representatives of all the Variety Tents worldwide will gather in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to celebrate and support Variety’s promising future as we find ways to strengthen and uphold Variety’s goal of making sure no child is left behind in reaching theirs.

Variety – the Children’s Charity of Wisconsin and Variety International invite you and your team to live by experiencing Milwaukee’s rich blend of history and modern-day splash, to laugh with friends, both old and new and to learn how 2015 will be a year of growth and success to enable every Variety Tent that “little extra” to be extraordinary for the children and communities you support.

We’ve invited previous Variety of Wisconsin recipient Matt Glowacki, a motivational powerhouse, yet adversity ridden, wheelchair bound athlete to present at Variety – the Children’s Charity 2015 World Conference Welcome Luncheon.

After winning 2010 & 2013’s Best Diversity Artist, and having now been named the 2014 Speaker of the year, Matt Glowacki continues to make his unique impact on the diversity conversation at colleges and universities around the country. Whether it is through highlighting the hidden messages behind some of the most popular television programs of the day in his event, "Diversity According to Family Guy & South Park," or sharing his ideas about finding fulfillment and enjoyment in life through conducting his "Doing Happiness" symposiums, Matt is always able to draw on the education and the experience he has gleaned from being born without legs. He teaches through the use of personal stories and insights from his life to relate and connect with his audiences. Sharing personal moments and building commonality allow him to connect larger ideas and make lasting impacts on the people he speaks with. Most commonly seen on campus with his black polo shirt and a huge welcoming smile, Matt’s openness about life and willingness to engage with anyone about anything keeps campuses asking for him again.
