The Russell’s Home is Dancin’ and Prancin’ for the Children December 21, 2015 5:53 PM

The Russell family from Moil in Darwin, love to decorate their home and garden with Christmas lights to share with the community. As the school holidays approach it gets so busy with two shows per night that the street is actually closed. Spectators are lined up to see the lights and music show, with well timed beats to a mix of festive tunes and modern songs. Such a big effort from the family, spending 3 months in preparation so the community get to enjoy something quite spectacular.  The family want to share the Christmas spirit with the Darwin community and raise funds for Variety – the Children’s Charity of Northern Territory at the same time. There are volunteers on roster each night to chat with people and collect donations. They even get a couple of hearts and ‘V’s’ throughout the show!
