VICF – Variety New Zealand Celebrates 25th Anniversary – Proceeds of more than $80K raised to support Kiwi kids and kids in South Pacific April 30, 2014 4:22 PM - Variety International

On April 3rd dignitaries, celebrities and Variety supporters gathered together for a very special dinner at The Langham Hotel to mark Variety New Zealand’s 25th Anniversary.

Enthusiastic bidding and fundraising from the night saw proceeds of more than $80,000 raised to support Kiwi kids and kids in the South Pacific. More than 25 disadvantaged Kiwi kids were also sponsored – one for every year Variety has been in New Zealand.

Among the 300 guests were The Rt Hon John Key, Variety Patron Dame Catherine Tizard, Mayor Len Brown and Deputy Mayor Penny Hulse, Variety International Chairman Peter Drummond MNZM, Variety Vice Patron Sir George Fistonich and Lady Gail Fistonich and Variety New Zealand founder Karen Kay.
