From developing an industry leading brand in a brandless marketplace, to helping charities raise more funds by better connecting with their donors, to creating cherished memories for clients through the execution of flawless weddings and corporate events, Dave’s success comes from his relentless focus on understanding the client. Dave is adept at overseeing a wide variety of operational and fiduciary responsibilities, and understands how to optimize performance and expand market share. He is an effective communicator, who can build consensus among stakeholders and whose ability to influence positive change in individuals and teams has been repeatedly proven.
Actively involved with Variety for over two decades Dave has performed a multitude of roles ranging from International Ambassador to Board President to Interim Executive Director. He is the recipient of the Telethon Award, Red Heart Award as well as multiple Presidential Citations. Dave currently serves on Variety Alberta’s Governance Committee as well as Variety International Treasurer and board director.
Born and raised in BC, Dave enjoys the west coast lifestyle, camping, snowboarding and surfing are favorite pastimes. He is a dog lover and cohabitates with a 12-year-old blue heeler named Lucy. An avid traveler Dave can often be found in more tropical climates where he can surf without a wetsuit.
