Janelle Mitchell is an accomplished senior finance leader with a proven track record managing strategy and driving revenue growth for early stage startups as well as mature companies. Her experience spans both B-to-C and B-to-B businesses in media, advertising, retail, CPG, ecommerce and technology. A results-oriented leader with a strong operating and financial background, she has also led company turnarounds, M&A activities, divestitures and growth expansions. Throughout her CFO roles, she has led many rounds of equity and debt financing including angel, venture capital, IPO and debt (senior, subordinated, and asset-based loans). Currently, Ms. Mitchell is the CFO Alchemy 43, a multi-unit consumer healthcare provider. She also serves as financial consultant to several private equity and venture backed companies in the ecommerce, CPG and retail industries.
Ms. Mitchell serves on Variety – the Children’s Charity Southern California, Tent 25, Board of Directors as its Treasurer and Janelle is an adjunct Professor of Accounting at the University of Redlands. She received her BS in Accounting from University of Delaware and her MBA in Finance from Loyola University, Chicago. She is a CPA.
