Variety NT is the benefactor of this year’s Clubs NT initiative, Clubs Week 2021, receiving an enormous $33,150 donation raised over 7 days between 12 – 18 July, by 14 participating organisations.
Member clubs were invited to accentuate the ‘fun’ in fundraisers and hold trivia events, lively family days and in-house incentives with the theme of “community”, and these clubs were on the money in the spirit of fine sportsmanship, to score this awesome tally.
Variety NT General Manager Katrina Fong Lim says “I am thrilled that Variety NT is the chosen community charity for Clubs Week affiliates and most grateful to receive this amazing contribution, which will assist Territory kids who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs.”
Clubs NT President and Casuarina All Sports Club manager, Russell Reid, said “This is a fantastic result for all the licenced participating Clubs. A huge thanks and well done to everyone throughout the Territory for coming together for this great cause.”
