What is the International Legacy Award?
The Variety International Legacy Award was initiated in 2022 by dedicated Board members and volunteers and ratified by the VI Advisory Council & Board in 2023. The first inductees were announced at the Variety International virtual AGM on May 16th, 2023.
The VI Legacy Award may be voted upon annually, based upon key criteria required for the nominee(s) to be considered. This includes:
- Longevity and Dedication to Variety’s cause.
- An Inspirational Leadership style – a mentor and role model for others.
- Creating real impact for Variety as an organization, and the children we serve.
- Recognition from Variety and other organizations for their work
